Theme Sessions
Theme Sessions delve into the main topic of discussion: shifting the focus from the end results to the creative processes involved in the performing arts. At their core, the sessions share the vision of PAMS 2009, “From Production To Distribution.” Theme Sessions consist of four interrelated issues with forums and case studies, engaging participants in a dialogue around generating local and overseas policy models to lend support to performing arts organizations and productions. A unique component of this year’s Sessions will be a series of presentations featuring works-in-progress, at various stages of production, to aid in the process of establishing productive partnerships between performing arts professionals.
